Spring Drive to Midwest Dream Car Collection Manhattan Kansas
The Midwest Dream Car Collection is our destination Saturday June 28th. Plan on departing from Dutch Bros Coffee in the Legend’s shopping center at 9:00am. Grab some caffeine and we’ll drive the 100 miles together through a mix of US Highways and Interstates. The Collection is curated by KC Cadillac Club Member Doug Meloan, and he has made a personal invitation to the club for a exclusive admission. Highlights of the collection include a Tucker, as well as a V-16 Caddy. Lunch will be at your own expense when we stop at the famous Vista Drive-In 1911 Tuttle Creek Blvd Manhattan, KS. The Club will pay the museum admission.
Club Picnic July 12, 2025 12:30pm at Debbie and Kevin Thorpe’s Leawood home.
Please consider attending your 2025 Club Picnic at Debbie and Kevin Thorpe’s home 3015 W 84th Place, Leawood Kansas 66202. Bring your favorite side, salad or dessert. The Club will provide the meats. Kevin has a recently remodeled patio area, but if the weather is too hot, we can retreat into the air-conditioned party room. Although the Thorpes are new members, Kevin is no stranger to Cadillac, having once owned a 1970 convertible. He currently owns three Oldsmobiles!

Rich Gibbs Interred Friday April 18, 2025
Thanks to all who traveled to Leavenworth to say their goodbyes to longtime Club Member Rich Gibbs. The Navy chaplain performed a moving ceremony, and Rich’s close friend and CLC member Col. John Hannan gave a touching eulogy. Rich’s sister provided a lively reception for those in attendance, and she later wrote to voice her thanks to Rich’s Cadillac friends who attended.
Ensorfest May 10th 2025
The Club had quite a showing at the lovingly maintained Ensor Park and Museum to celebrate Ensor Fest May 10th. Our lineup of seven Cadillacs and one LaSalle made quite the display on the grounds of the historic home. Members took advantage of a guided tour of the house, and also explored Mr. Ensor’s radio room and woodworking shop.
